In Queenstown, New Zealand, there is a poem on the quay wall running along the lake: Waipounamu: The Lakes District by David Eggleton. It's a wonderful poem and although way too long to remember it all, there are certain phrases that I often think of. Like "frozen chandeliers".
And today, everywhere I looked, I saw frozen chandeliers:
Beautiful and yet so so horrible...
