There is one weekend in a year when suddenly all the sour cherries and lots of raspberries ripen.
And the tree still looks full of sour-cherries although you already have 30 jars of sour-cherry jam, a freezer and a fridge full of sour-cherries.
I'm complaining, yes, but eating home-grown redcurrant, raspberries, strawberries and sour cherries all through the year is well worth it.
