Again, the red time of the year.
Redcurrant.
Red cherries.
What a week.
I got little presents on Saturday, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
And no, I am not celebrating anything.
Just presents from all sorts of people on all sorts of occasions.
I appreciate it :-)
I've had this colourful light fabric for quite a while now, but now was the right occasion to make a superlight superwide superflowy trousers. So I made them :-)
I've been away again - the fourth time within five weeks!
Even for me, this is quite a lot.
But I am not complaining :-)
I've seen Vilnius and Trakai.
And I have climbed some... questionable stairs.
Sometimes, one has to accept that one cannot be at two different places at the same time.
It's hard but one has to do it.
But if I didn't cancel this one thing, I would have to cancel/postpone eleven (!) others.
Ugh.
And I've been even further away.
Just before flying to France, I made myself a new summery dress.
A lovely floral Jersey with orchids.
And as soon as one dress was finished, I acquired new fabrics :-)
I again stayed in a hotel where I've often stayed before. And so far, my rooms were always pretty generic hotel rooms with not much character.
Not this time!
And speechless :-D
Let's say you're super busy and work insane hours preparing an important project for work.
When you get really tired, on a Saturday evening, you ask Chat GPT to create an overview scheme illustrating the project content for the cover page.
And Chat delivers a lovely sketch. Of course.
It's just that the project is about experimental fundamental physics :-)We visited another interesting town in Italy, Treviso.
No pictures from the exhibition that we visited, but some from the town itself.
Satyr piper from the 13th century, once in Casa Gobbato.
Cycling the Parenzana trail is a great experience.
Visiting some historic villages ...
... and cycling a lovely trail ...
with plenty of places to take a break :-)
Although we were only about 10 km (as the crow flies) away from Cortina, we watched the Olympics on TV.
And this is a great opportunity to watch sports I never watch otherwise.
And admire their Olympics uniforms. My absolute favourite team was Mongolia:
But I also loved Lithuania!
And yes, we've seen the opening :-)

Just no.
We've spent some wonderful snowy days in the Italian Dolomites.
This picture was taken before it started snowing :-)
What a wonderful place to be.
Holidays are also a great time to visit exhibitions. So we drove to Trieste and visited the exhibition about J.R.R. Tolkien.
