A dress... a blouse... a skirt

I found some light viscose rayon in millefiori design and planned to make a long summer dress. I actually did make a long dress loosely based on the pattern from Burda 2/2009, Nr.122 but realized that I'm never going to wear it. That's when I decided to cut it in half. I kept the upper part to make a blouse and from the rest I'll make a skirt. Basically, I'll just put an elastic band in the waist.
Anyway, here are the photos. First the fabric, and a fabric detail (yes, I love my macro lens!), a detail of the neckline and the final blouse. I love the way the sleeve moves when I walk or ride a bike!
