Merry Christmas everyone!
And we've got six boxes of all sorts of home-made Christmas cookies.
Last year we went to see Advent in Zagreb, this year we went to Trieste. Not as special, but not bad nevertheless.
Almost all the Christmas cards have been posted, so I can reveal this year's mystery.
Not only did I change the colour for a bit of variety, every person got the mountains/town of where they live :-)
I am quite happy, especially considering that they are my plan B as the plan A didn't work. Oh well.
I know I am tremendously late with this year's Christmas cards.
But I am slowly catching up! So the ones going abroad have already been posted, while the home-town cards are being made now.
One of the reasons why there were no posts in November is that we took a lovely autumn break and went to Portugal.
Still beautiful, still fascinating, yet way more crowded than ever before...
If I counted correctly, this is the seventh time I visited the country.
But I will visit it again, for sure :-)
And no, I haven't yet had the courage to try wave surfing, my men, however, loved it!
Not that I need any reminders on what a wonderful place Antibes is - but I am nevertheless happy I got this painting at the flea market :-)
It goes surprisingly well with other pictures and maps on my wall, showing Southern France, Nice, and Biot ;-)
J'adore N'oubliez pas les paroles!
And it does not happen often that I know the lyrics and the contestants don't.
Especially if it is the Maestro's round.
Especially if we're talking about La Reine Margot.
But I knew the lyrics to the "Je voudrais la connaitre" and she didn't.
Ha!
More tiger-inspired fashion: I made three necklaces for three birthdays.
The next weekend was dedicated to kayaking.
Charity kayaking.
Let's just say that we, as a family, combined, finished as many laps as the 'winner'.
Oh well.
Next year we'll be better :-)

And I started Suffering again!
Sorry - Systming.
I will never ever get over this stupid name change!
As much as I enjoyed watching the Olympics, I missed my daily dose of 'Les Paroles'. Now that they are back, it's time to post another songs-I-m-currently-listening-more-often-than-others post. Here we go:
Gaëtan Roussel & Adeline Lovo - Crois-moi!
Joseph Kamel, Julien Doré - Beau
Vianney, Zazie - Comment on fait
There are also a lot of French classics on my list.
But they deserve a separate post :-)
MiniMojcek Nr. 2 wants to learn how to sew. However, all the summer courses we found were full - and not quite what he wanted. He had no interest in sewing pillows or simple bags...
He wanted to sew shorts. With a pocket. With a zipper.
So he learned how to sew shorts with a pocket with a zipper in seam.
Today I learned a new word:
Makittaqanngitsoq
Which in Inuktitut literally means: "a person who has never mastered the kayak roll".
So, basically, me.
I can only do the first half ;-)
One casually goes to the city centre to do some Saturday shopping...
... and sees such a beauty.
A Ford GT 40.
Since we got back, the summer is in full swing.
But I was not made for a heat like this.
So we found a cool spot to chill... and climb.
I can't believe I haven't posted anything for over two months.
Because I've been busy.
Because I've been away :-)
One of the things I did recently was a lovely jinbei shirt for Mr. Mojcek.
I had some super comfortable Japanese fabric:
Yesterday, I was one of the around 15 000 people walking in circles.
Or rather in one circle.
A big one.
A 32,5 km long one.
Around my home town.
I said I was going to be ready this summer!
Another blue dress I made:
